Meet the maker
Hi, I'm Alisha.
I use my hands to express what's in my head. From my studio in rural Perry County, Pennsylvania — under a big painted sun — I hand-build ceramic creatures one pinch and coil at a time.
"I make ceramic sculptures inspired by nature, folklore, and all the wonderfully odd little things that tend to get overlooked."
Frogs, griffins, horned beetles — some come from nature, some from old stories, and some just show up a little odd. Every piece is built and glazed entirely by hand, so no two are ever quite the same. If it makes you smile and tilt your head, that's exactly the point.

The odd little menagerie
A rotating cast of hand-built creatures — some straight from the kiln, some still soft on the wheel.
